Conference “The Biology of CAM Plants”

This international meeting put together a diverse group of scientists working with evolution, ecology and genomics of CAM traits and species. The Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM) photosynthesis is a carbon concentrating mechanism that enables an elevated water-use efficiency. In the last day of our meeting, we had a field trip to the Tonto National Forest.
